Area Lakes and River Fishing Records

We need your help in creating a list of record size fish for every lake and river in Region 6.

We invite your active participation, advise us with evidence if our records are wrong, by either old but more accurate information or by new records being broken.

We would also appreciate it if you send us any "trophy" photo, because we can't all have the record, but we can catch very big fish in our region, so send them photos to us. These will be added to our Photo Section. We can also publish video for those who are willing to share them.

Note: As there are almost no records of  each fish species by stream or lake in Region 6, you may indeed hold the first record, so do not hesitate to send us information about your fish.

What we need is the following:

  1. Your name and where you live (not your street address) but your town, province (state) and country of residence.

  2. A Photo of you holding the fish.

  3. Information identifying the model and brand of scale used.

  4. A witness who will also write a signed statement naming the species of fish, verifying its weight, measurements, location caught,(river or lake or stream) and date caught.

  5. Or bring it in to a Sporting Goods (Tackle Store) and have it verified.

Hall of Fame - Fish of significant size.

As you can see there are a lot of lakes, streams and species of fish with no official record kept to date. Maybe you just broke or set a record today?
