Region 6 - Hall of Fame

Please send us photos of your fish that are in the close proximity of record size fish. Please provide us with a photo, name of person who caught it, lake or river it was caught in and its exact weight (please name the model and brand of your weigh scale.)

Catch & Release formula for Salmon and Steelhead

The best method is weigh the fish in a net, then subtract the weight of the net while its wet.

Chinook: girth squared x length x 1.54 divided by 1000 (inches)
Steelhead: girth squared x length x 1.33 divided by 1000 (inches)

We will post all the fishing greats here, even if its short of a record.

Many of our fabulous lakes and rivers never get reported for fish catches. If you fished a lake or river in Region 6 and you can tell us what it was like, please contact us so we can share the information with others.
