Fishing for Chinook could be summed up as fair to excellent, largely depending on whether or not you have a boat. Those using boats do have a very strong advantage over the others. There are good numbers of sockeye going through and early indicators show both a good run of Coho and steelhead are also giving us great hopes for a fantastic summer.

There have been numerous reports of Chinook over 40 pounds being caught (just over 18 kg) a fish that will be a memorable fight indeed.
